Eating fish by the sea is the best way to enjoy it. Thus, the exposed beach at low tide was the inspiration for the fishplate and seaweed for the design of the cutlery. The wooden parts should be inspired by wooden fish trawlers and their fishing tradition. So the oak wood should have a surface similar to the wooden flotsam you will find on beaches around the world. The division of the serving plate into a ceramic and a wooden area, is due to function. The porcelain area is for garnishing and decorating the food, the wooden area is more a work surface where the seafood and the tools are handled.
