The main point in designing FlexZept was to make a flexible frame for pictures with several ways of usage within the main frame function.
As it can be seen on the results, the moving parts became one of the most important part of the eventual concept next to modularity. Not at least, thanks to the rotatable and modular pieces, it can be easily folded into one handy object.
The pictures are going in the frame on a foam board, its cheap and can be cut to the necessary size and shape in a short time.
The joints are moving concentrically, and can use mechanic or magnetic ways to hold the frame from falling apart and they can rotate in 15° (or 30°) degrees steps.
The actual frame is minimalistic, modern and made of metal so it fits easily in Zepter’s visual world, especially with using the Logo of the company.
