A container inspired by a gesture

A one hand operated container for spreading products like you would do with your fingertips. It is a very practical gesture to distribute salt or other granular products from the fingertips, because it gives perfect control of how much is applied and where.

This design combines a container with the benefits of this gesture. It fits snugly into the hand while the fingers can gradually open or close the container, and by moving the fingertips against each other the product is distributed. The silicone skin is very thin where the fingertips are placed to offer a haptic feedback of how much of the content is spread. The benefits of this container are a very intuitive way of spreading salt, spices etc. and one hand operation.
