HON is a biomimicry sculpture that illuminates at night. It represents waves of hope that never stop as long as the wind keeps blowing. HON is designed to mimic an organic creature that can be moved by the wind. The natural dancing movement created by the wind is rhythmical and inspiring. The sculpture has a minimal structure that only uses one column to support the roof and hanging branches. All the electrical parts for LED light support are hidden in the roof structure. The main column is also hidden inside the screen of branches, making the sculpture perceived as floating above the ground.

The whole sculpture can be prefabricated and assembled on site for fast installation. The design is created to be interactive and movable to create a playful atmosphere.

The scatter of branches location is designed parametrically, as well as the height of the branches. The variation of the computer-generated pattern mimics the organic life pattern, making HON to blend into the surrounding.
