Zepter cookware has long symbolized technology, performance, and durability. In rethinking the original model, I saw its potential in refining its form — creating an aesthetic that visually reflects its functional excellence. While the handles and knob worked well, their shapes disrupted the unity of the design.
This concept starts from a pure, continuous cylinder — strong, simple, and elegant. The handles are now embedded into vertical recesses, disappearing when closed to form a monolithic stainless-steel body with golden details. At a touch, they emerge for ergonomic use. The lid follows the same idea: its hidden knob maintains a clean surface, appearing only when needed.
Functionally, this eliminates protruding parts, saving space and easing storage. Visually, the piece transcends its role as cookware to serve beautifully at the table. The design merges ergonomics, innovation, and sculptural presence, making the pot a centerpiece of both kitchen and dining.
Stainless steel and gold accents honor Zepter’s tradition, now expressed through minimalist clarity. Echoing Bruno Munari’s idea that true improvement lies in removing the unnecessary, this pot simplifies to amplify — celebrating 40 years of Zepter’s timeless efficiency and elegance.
Technique and materials:
Brushed stainless-steel body with golden PVD-coated recessed handles and knob. Hidden handle system with dual metal bridges, air gap, and insulating bushings for thermal safety. Minimalist vertical recesses keep handles and knob flush with the cylindrical form when closed.
