Art Wall

Cooking pots don’t have to be an ugly mess hidden in a cupboard. This creation separates pots / lids from knobs / handles, allowing both modularity and spectacular wall decoration.
Thanks to removable magnetic handles, the cooking set achieves abstract, unusually minimal shapes. Pots and lids are painted in matching colours and all is hanging on the wall like a piece of art in a gallery. Wall hangers have a shape of a ring so when pot is removed, composition remains visually unbroken. Hangers are also long / deep enough so pots and lids can overlap. Usage is simple. If a person wants to use the set, they simply remove the pot from the magnetic hook on the wall and attach either magnetic knobs or a long handle to form a pot or a pan.
For example, a color matched pair of deep and shallow pieces can be used variably as either one cooking pot with a lid, two separate pans with long handles, two elegant serving pots without handles, or a mix in between. The possibilities are many.

Art Rice

Let’s modernize and anthropomorphize the traditional asian rice cooking pot that is known for having two lids to control temperature. The functional innovation in this design is in the red outer lid, with two sections - mini gap
between them provides a steaming hole. The top part of the red hat cone can be flipped to form a bowl for serving the rice. The red bowl will not leak water residue, thanks to the raised gutter inside. A face only appears when the pot is hot due to thermochromic printing.
 

Art Senior

I designed this collection of cooking pots for my mom and for seniors who, due to age or accidents, have lost the ability to lift and carry heavy pots full of soup or other foods. The design features special ball wheels so the pot can be slightly tilted and moved like a wheelbarrow across the kitchen counter, for example, from the sink to the cooktop. Each pot is decorated with hand-painted, randomly placed dots and topped with a unique lid that doubles as a removable, swiveling tray for holding utensils and ingredients during cooking.
