Education and training

Attilio Impronta, born in Naples on June 10, 1963, embarked on a global journey to enhance his expertise in economics and insurance. After completing his studies in London at the age of 18, he spent five years in the UK before joining Mapfre, Spain's largest Insurance Group, in Madrid.

Career

In 1995, Attilio returned to Italy, contributing to the family legacy by joining Marine & Aviation S.p.A., founded by his father in Naples in 1978.

Currently a member of the Board of Directors for MAG SpA (formerly Marine & Aviation), Attilio oversees international business and network relationships, a role he assumed in 2012.

With a career in insurance since 1987, Attilio held various management positions within the Marine and Aviation Group since joining the family business. His professional journey included roles as a marine facultative underwriter for Consorziale S.p.A. and underwriter at Mapfre Re.

In the '90s, Attilio served as a tutor for the CII at the Chamber of Commerce in Genova, focusing on Economics and Statistics applied to Insurance.

Under his leadership, MAG has become the largest independent broker house in Italy with 25 offices nationwide. Key units include Naples (Marine business), Rome (Aviation business), Milan (Industrial P/C business), and London, where MAG, established in 1993, became the first Italian broker to attain Lloyd’s Broker status, employing around 250 professionals.

Beyond business

Attilio is actively involved in cultural patronage. MAG is associated with the '’Gli Amici della Triennale'’ Fund Raising Association, supporting the Triennale Institution of Modern Art & Design in Milan. Additionally, MAG is a proud partner of ACACIA - the Italian Contemporary Art Association, promoting young artists through the 'Acacia Award.'

Attilio's commitment extends to "Made in Cloister", a family-driven urban regeneration project in Naples' historical center, promoting Art & Design through site-specific projects focused on local craftsmanship (www.madeincloister.it).
